Very ancient and the wisdom still lives on.
Yes; I think you’d like this one:
“The man of wisdom is never of two minds;
the man of benevolence never worries;
the man of courage is never afraid.”

How wise I am. You are the one who is feeding me the wisdom. 😛
Borrowed wisdom. 🙂
Love this quote!
I love this one, too: “The gem cannot be polished without friction, nor man perfected without trials.”
― Confucius
Ah so wise! : )))x
Why do we like reading Confucius? I think it is because he says in one short phrase what others say in pages and pages. And he says it so much better. 🙂
Thanks to my friend mixedupmeme I found your post about Confucius. I decided to write a few poems this week about some of his sayings. 🙂
